Serenity Bay redesign goes live

My redesign of the website for Serenity Bay, a luxury condominium complex, was launched today.

The site was developed according to web standards, and (as with my last site, Starwood Properties), uses a Flash detection script to substitute static imagery for Flash elements for non-Flash enabled browsers.

The Serenity Bay website employs soft, muted colors and a sandy, textured background to create a beachy yet elegant feel for the lakeside complex. The background is also relevant to the project because it was developed from a photo of the textured concrete that is used on the side of the main condominium building.

The site's back end uses basic CMS, a floor plan management tool, and a photo gallery tool to power the site.
